This was a walk to the top of Win Hill on a Friday in January. It was very cold and windy and there was a thin covering of snow. The walk started from Hope village and went through the village of Aston to the summit of Win Hill Pike at 463m. The path then descends along the ridge to the end of the Edale valley and the route returned along the delightful River Noe. We stopped at the Cheshire Cheese pub in Hope for refreshment.
